LED flickering is not always caused by the lamp itself. The issue can come from the driver, switch, dimmer, loose contact, voltage drop, or electrical panel.
If one lamp flickers, try a quality replacement. If several lights flicker, the switch, junctions, circuit, and panel should be checked.
Old dimmers and illuminated switches may be incompatible with LED lamps and can cause flickering or glowing when switched off.
If lights flicker across the home, switches heat up, noise is heard, or lamps fail often, call an electrician for voltage and wiring diagnostics.
