An intercom, video doorbell and door chime need proper power and clean cable routing. If the adapter is weak, the cable is wrong or connections are loose, the system can become unstable.
An electrician checks adapter voltage, low-voltage cable, junction box connections, lock power and moisture protection around the outdoor panel. Power and signal cables should not be routed carelessly together.
If the monitor flickers, the doorbell responds late, the lock does not open or the adapter gets warm, power, terminals and cable continuity should be checked before replacing the whole unit.
